Upon such changes and/or modifications, 3 MUSES, LLC, the operator of zodiacgirlz.com and zodiacgirlzblog.com, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, shall require children under the age of 13 to obtain the consent of you, the parent or guardian before collecting additional personal information from them (excepting email newsletters; please see "Information Collected" subcategory "Newsletters" for related policy). As allowed by law, we will have collected only your child's name, age and e-mail in order to obtain your consent. We will let you know that your child has visited a portion of our website which requests personal information and has told us that she or he is under the age of 13. We will not collect any other information from your child until we receive your consent. If we do not hear from you within 60 days all information pertaining to your child will be deleted.

Information Collected
In an effort to keep the amount of information collected from our visitors to a minimum, we generally limit our collection of information from children to non-personally identifiable information (e.g., screen name, first name only, age, gender, state, Zip code and area of residence (hometown or country)). This collection of information is so that children can participate in activities (e.g., post letters) without providing unnecessary personal information. However, from time to time, we may request limited personally identifiable information (e.g., child's e-mail address and/or e-mail address of a parent or a third party); in such instances parental consent will be required of a child under the age of 13 and detailed policies and practices will be described.
Newsletters
Visitors have the opportunity to subscribe to the Zodiac Girlz Newsletter by e-mail at zodiacgirlz.com. A child under the age of 13 subscribing to the newsletter will provide his or her first name, e-mail address and parent's e-mail address. Upon receipt of this information an e-mail to the parent will be sent notifying him/her of the child's request to receive our newsletter on an ongoing basis and that he/she has the right to request that we remove his/her child from our newsletter database by using the "unsubscribe" instructions provided in the initial parental e-mail notification and at the end of every Zodiac Girlz newsletter. Parents will also be notified that they may review all personally identifiable information that we have collected about their child (Parental Review) and may also request that we delete such information from our database.
Information collected for Zodiac Girlz newsletters is for the sole purpose of providing electronic newsletters to the child. Such information may be shared, transferred or disclosed to third parties who are contracted by us to perform specific functions directly related to the preparation and/or delivery of the electronic newsletters only and have agreed to the maintain this information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Electronic Postcards (E-cards)
At zodiacgirlz.com, visitors have the opportunity to send electronic postcards (E-cards) which depict Zodiac GirlzTM characters and original artwork to friends and family. The only personal information requested of the E-card sender is first name; however, the sender is also asked to provide the first name and e-mail address of the recipient. Information collected for E-cards is used for the sole purpose of sending the requested E-card and is then deleted from our database once the card is sent.
Use of Information Collected/Disclosure without Consent
Information collected by the Zodiac Girlz website is never sold to third parties and it is our policy not to disclose or share personal information except in certain instances:
• Personal information may be shared, transferred or disclosed to third parties who are contracted by us to perform specific functions related to the operation of our site and activities on the site such as delivery of particular activities (contests, e-cards, newsletters), processing functions, backend programming and maintenance. These third parties have access to personal information on our site as a part of their function and have agreed to keep confidential all such information.
• In order to comply with the law or law enforcement agencies, personal information may be disclosed as necessary to protect website users and or the website itself.

Visitors at www.zodiacgirlz.com can use the "Shopping" button to access the link to the Zodiac Girlz Design Store, http://www.zazzle.com/collections/zodiacgirlz/ which is independently owned and operated by a third party, Zazzle.com, Inc. and independent and separate from www.zodiacgirlz.com. Zazzle.com collects personal information about its users in full compliance of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) but does not share this information with us. Please consult the Zazzle.com's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use since they are not covered by our Privacy Policy and may follow different procedures. 3 Muses, LLC is not responsible for claims made by or against Zazzle.com or their affiliates.
Cookies and Log Data
Session cookies have been placed to prevent a child under 13 registering for our newsletter from using the "back" button to change his/her age in order to avoid filling in parental information during a browsing session.
Log data collected from this website on web servers both within 3 MUSES, LLC's control and the control of our third party webmaster (who is required to maintain such data on a confidential basis), is retained by 3 MUSES, LLC. This data includes aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on our site. 3 MUSES, LLC uses such aggregate information to improve access to our content based on our visitors' browsers and operating system types to make our content available to as many visitors as possible. Log data collected will not be linked to personal information submitted online when participating in future activities.
Posting Comments
Visitors to zodiacgirlzblog.com can leave comments on posts. The information collected at the time of commenting is the user's name and email address for the sole purpose of authenticating security and preventing spam. The email address is immediately deleted before the comment is accepted for posting to the website. Only the first name of the user will be kept.
Parental Review of Information
We want to help parents ensure the safety of their children online as well as providing a fun experience. Parents have the right to review all personal information that we have collected about their child by printing out and faxing a signed Parental Review of Information to us. Parents may review any identifiable information collected about their child, have such information corrected, deleted, and/or request that there be no further collection or use of their child's information. Security
We have appropriately placed physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and assist in the prevention of unauthorized access and correctly use the limited information we collect online.
We will provide internal "bumper pages" when linking from zodiacgirlz.com to another site that will let visitors know they have linked to another site. These bumper pages will also instruct visitors under 13 not to give out information online before getting their parent's consent. These other linked websites are governed by their own privacy policies and/or information collection practices. Transfer of Information
Upon sale of the of the property Zodiac Girlz and/or the sale of the website zodiacgirlz.com, 3 MUSES, LLC retains the right to transfer information collected to the purchasing person or entity. All responsibility for privacy policies and practices shall be transferred to the purchaser.
